Our Sixth Form hosts a dynamic calendar of events each year, carefully designed to inspire, inform, and support students as they begin and continue their journey through post-16 education. These events play a key role in helping students explore their interests, develop key skills, and prepare for their chosen pathways, whether that’s university, apprenticeships, or the world of work.

From academic taster days to higher education evenings, we offer a wide range of opportunities that enrich the Sixth Form experience and broaden horizons.

Below, you’ll find highlights of some of our annual events that may be of interest to both current and prospective students.

Higher Education Evening

This annual event is aimed at parents and guardians of Year 12 students, and is a key part of the support we offer as students begin planning their next steps.

The purpose of the evening is to:

•  Provide an overview of the UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) application process

•  Explain the support programme we offer and how we manage applications as a school

•  Share key information on student finance, including loans and tuition fees

This event is particularly helpful for families navigating the process for the first time, and we strongly encourage all parents/guardians to attend. The evening is designed to be both informative and supportive, and previous attendees have found it extremely valuable in understanding the journey ahead.

Race Across London 2026

Our inaugural Race Across London was a fantastic success and a real highlight of the Sixth Form calendar. Working in teams, students navigated their way across London, completing a series of challenges that developed teamwork, communication, resilience and problem-solving skills.

More importantly, the day encouraged students to become transformational leaders, supporting one another, making informed decisions and inspiring their teammates to succeed. As they explored some of London’s most iconic landmarks, students built confidence, broadened their cultural capital and created lasting memories in an unforgettable celebration of collaboration and leadership.
